Made it to Montgomery

Travel was pretty uneventful, and I arrived safely.

We landed 20 minutes early in Houston and waited on the tarmac for 20 minutes for our gate to be cleared. The flight from Houston to Montgomery was packed -- the plane was a tiny business jet that seated 50. We landed in Montgomery about 10pm.

Tonight I am staying at the Holiday Inn East in Montgomery, courtesy of the Red Cross. I have a bed and a TV to watch CNN on (which is a LOT more than I'd hoped and prepared myself for).

It was nice to turn CNN on tonight and see water being pumped out of New Orleans and all of the families being reunited.
