Car Drama: Nearly Over!

And all I can say is it's about time! :) Surprisingly enough, the title arrived in MY mail on Tuesday -- for some odd reason the bank sent it to me. I managed to get the seller and got him to download and execute an affidavit so I could transfer the title without his signature on it -- he sent it to me overnight and I received it today. All that's left is to pay the government off. Yay -- I've been holding off on chipping the car so I'm going to have to give that some serious consideration now that it's officially in my name. I've been thinking about the drag stip a lot, too!

Work has been real busy. I think I'll leave it at that for now.

I had a fabulous time in Jamaica over the 4th of July. We hit the duty free shops pretty hard on the way back and brought back some nice coconut rum that's not exported off the island and some Blue Mountain coffee. Hopefully enough of both to last a long while. I spent too much time in the sun on Saturday and ended up with a burn despite the amount of sunscreen I was wearing. I spent most of Sunday and Monday in the shade. It was a great 4 night get away. I think the next time I go back I'm going to go during the winter -- maybe January or February.

I'm going to see 311 at Red Rocks on July 28th; I've never seen them live so I'm really looking forward to the show! The Wailers are opening; I wonder if they'll play One Love.
